WHY REMOVE THE STOCK FUSE ON THE ONYX RCR ? or (UPGRADE TO A BETTER FUSE)
The RCR stock fuse was added when the 1.5 Version of the ONYX RCR started shipping out.
Many instances where stranded riders struggle to figure out why their bike suddenly stops … Blown stock fuses.
This can happen to any bike at any time.
Stock fuse not rated for high amperage electric vehicles.
D.A.T offers Options for Thicker gauge Wires / lugs and authentic genuine connectors which reduce heat while youre riding hard.
Many instances where riders get stranded by the stock fuse , whether if you're riding stock settings or have a higher power tune, it's a good idea to remove or upgrade your stock fuse. Due to BMS and Controller protective measures, we have found having an upgraded fuse isn’t absolutely necessary. However if you would like the extra protective features.. You DO NOT need to purchase D.A.T fuse removal kit and D.A.T breaker as its one or the other. D.A.T fuse removal kit removes / BI-passes the stock fuse, D.A.T breaker replaces your fuse with a breaker.
